Thank you for submitting this idea, voting on it and in some instances providing more feedback. We spent time researching this request and working with our Professional Services department for a viable solution.
At this time, we are not considering it for development. This request requires some heavy technical enhancements that do not line up with our current road map.
Thank you,
Ashley Prinsen

An error occurred while saving the comment Lora Holman commentedOur maintenance staff can reach overtime if they work more than 8 hours in a day so if this is developed please give us the option not to use this feature. Also, we sometimes mass add time off for a District Staff Development day. If someone worked extra later in the week we would not want their time sheet to error out. All this being said it would be nice to stop some staff from using Sick leave if they go over their hours for the week. Maybe it could be a feature to add to timekeeping rules.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lora Holman commentedFor our district we like the feature as it is. We do give Sub Teachers access to Employee Access but I understand Ann's concerns. So could you please consider making this a setting that district could turn on or off? Another idea would be to reset this field value to "print" when we inactivate someone.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lora Holman commentedThere is a setting where you can "prevent employees from requesting more than one day off with a single Time Off transaction." It is found at PS\EM\CF\TO, Time Off Setup page, Request Options tab. Would this address your concerns? See screen shot.
There is a way to upload proximity or barcode data into Skyward. It is a multi-step process that starts with running a utility (outside of Skyward) to convert the number (proximity) to binary. Then there is an Admin Tool in Product Setup that will allow you to import the csv file. But it would be so much better to be able to enter the number for individual staff directly into Skyward.
