Thank you for submitting this Product Idea.

The SMS 2.0 strategy behind canned reports was that each report was built with input from customers on what they wanted and needed at that time. The benefit to that strategy was that each report was designed in such a way that is was unique to that area.

As times have changed it has come at the cost of consistency across the system. This strategy was something Skyward shifted with our Qmlativ product where we have one stop shop for Report Management with a Report Designer and a Data Mining Designer.

Do you have specific reports that you’d like updated with a NameKey option in the parameters?

    Thank you.

Updating calendars on the Time Off Info Tab in the profile from the Employee Management Plan. Right now it can only be done, one calendar at a time which is time consuming when you have the information already entered on the employee management plan. To go into Calendar Code Mass change and have to update them one calendar at a time is redundant when the information is already in the system. I feel like it should update the Time Off Info tab from the employee management plan at the same time as either rolling the payroll or at least have a task that does them all at the same time. I often feel like we spend a lot of time taking information already in the system and manually moving it to another location.

Thank you for submitting this idea.

This functionality already exists in Skyward. If an employee submits their time sheets from web, mobile, and reader when an unapproved time off request is out there for that week validation exists to prevent the user from submitting the time sheet.

There is also validation when the time sheet is being approved to catch any unapproved time off requests at that point.

Is the situation that the time off requests are being put in after the time sheet has been submitted/approved?

    Thank you!
