An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedThe Dr's Note is a Student Indicator that can be set up (found under Advanced Features/Student Indicators), but that will only display once the option is checked on the Attendance Tab in Student Profile that states 'Doctor's note required for each absence'.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedI'm not necessarily disagreeing, but you will find that the data in your columns dictate the size sometimes. You are also able to hi-lite the line between 2 columns and drag them to resize.

You actually can filter several areas when adding students to the Proc List. You may filter by names, grade, grad year, status, school, Advisor, and Other ID.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedDepending on the information that is being sent, you may consider having a generic letter that can be emailed via Message Center and have the particular information needing to be disbursed posted in Family Access. For example, ISTEP Parent Claim Codes, Required Vaccines, etc., need to be sent for each student. You could import the information such as ISTEP Claim Codes, or needed Vaccines into a custom form. Extract the custom form data in Data Mining but choosing the Family Access option before you run the report. This adds the information for the parent/student under the Portfolio Tab in Family Access. So basically, your letter is generic but stating as well where the parents can 'retrieve' the information in Family Access. No need to stuff or mail!

I believe I need more information. Where would you like to see these alerts? Are you talking about the student name turning RED? I just want to make sure I understand exactly what you are asking for. Thanks.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedThis report does exist already; however, you will not be able to specify a particular number of missing assignments. Of course teachers themselves can run Missing Assignments as well, but Administratively, you can run it as well as long as you have security. Navigate to Educator Access Plus/Gradebook/Reports/Student Assignments. You have many options to choose from, but specifically, you can print Missing Assignments only and each student can be printed on their own page, etc. Hope this helps!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedProbably the easiest way to accomplish this is to set up an Attendance Type Code for this/potentially other situations. This code would NOT be included in the Letter Attendance Type area (where you define the codes you are looking at).

Typically, the Absence Occurrence Report is used for Perfect Attendance among other scenarios. You can find this report under Office/Attendance/Reports/Absence Occurrence. Here is a link for more information on how to set it up: https://support.skyward.com/DeptDocs/Corporate/Documentation/Public%20Website/Tutorials/Software/WS_OF_AT_RE_AR_AD_929647_100_T.pdf

You are actually able to view a lot of information under Student Browse. There are many views, and you are always able to set your own filter here as well. The Student Browse can also provide counts only for certain ranges/criteria.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedThe teachers do have the flexibility to add the 'Recent Messages' Widget to their dashboard. This will help them see the alerts!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedYou could also use an Entity or District Category (Categories Tab in Student Profile) to track this information. You can then have an indicator triggered by the Category entry.

Ditto on the process; however, you do not need to pull a CSV report for this. There is a Processing List Option right on the verification screen (it's the pencil and paper icon in the top right portion of the screen). Very simple to create the Processing List to use for sending messages!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedI understand the tracking purposes for sure. You do always have the option to write a Data Mining Report to extract this data. If you add the Date of the Offense, etc., you will have the option on the Data Mining Range screen to set the Date field to a Variable...so your Variable might be Today - 0 Days which would always be the current date the report is generated, or you could simply leave the ranges wide open to always see the number of Restraint or Seclusion records. This report can be set up as a scheduled task to be emailed to you or other stakeholders daily, weekly, etc.

The teachers do have the option (if enabled for them in Security)to send a Message Center message. They have the capability to send to 1 or multiple (or all classes at once). These messages can be emailed, and/or posted to Family Access or Student Access. Are you asking if Skyward could add the capability to Text these messages?

An error occurred while saving the comment Jacque Deckard commentedThis option is already in the software. You can find the ability to Force Teachers to Show All Grading Periods under Educator Access Plus/Gradebook/Setup/Config/District Setup (this is global so once enabled, it will be enabled for all entities)/Look under the Options Specific to Secondary Gradebook and you will see the option 'Force Teachers to Show All Grading Periods'. Hope this helps!
Unless I am missing the actual question, the fields are available already to DM.
