Thank you for submitting this idea! We suggest using options that exist in Time Off Setup Request Options.
Navigate to Product Setup > Employee Access > Time Off Setup > Request Options tab, then edit, then uncheck the box “Allow Time Off request in group 9”
Group 9 is a special code typically used for Time Off Requests like Emergency Sick Paid Leave.
If help is needed to set this up, please submit a Service Call and one of our Representatives will be able to assist.

My understanding is that School Messenger uses the internal ID to pull from the Skylert settings area of Family Access. I believe School Messenger would also need to switch to using the Other ID and that might not actually connect correctly to Family Access. But if this would work then OtherID would be nice.

We need some clarification on your current process.
Are you processing Open Enrollment outside of Skyward? We ask because Online Forms is not what is used for Open Enrollment in Skyward. Custom Forms are used for Open Enrollment and we currently don’t have an Email option linked with Custom Forms.

Correct, we use Online Forms w Custom Forms to create our own Open Enrollment process. (There is a reason why Skyward's Open Enrollment process doesn't work well with our setup.) That being said, we have a few different Online Forms processes created and it is really helpful that an email can be sent when an Online Form is completed, but it would be even better if we could enter an email address that the message is sent from. (I've seen this option on the student side, in Message Center.)

Possible workaround: For the time off codes that I don't want employees to use, I don't assign any reason code that will work in Employee Access with that time off code. We require a reason code so if one isn't available, they can see the time off code and balances, but can't request it. It does confuse some staff but hasn't been an issue for us.
