Thank you so much for your votes on this idea and all the comments! We are having discussions regarding the ability to do this internally and with other vendors such as Frontline as mentioned in comments.
We will update this public status as soon as we have more to share.

You should be able to clear them all from here.

An error occurred while saving the comment Larry King commentedSchool Messenger ultimately receives all data (student and family) from Skyward anyway so we would just like the option of determining the ID that gets exported. Doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to change and it would make things much easier for campus staff.
An error occurred while saving the comment Larry King commentedDoes anybody else have issues with this?

An error occurred while saving the comment Larry King commentedWe create ALL Data Mining (DM) reports for our district in our support department.
Allowing everyone in the district to create templates would increase DM exponentially. We would like to see security assigned to DM to give particular groups access to only the reports that apply to their area of responsibility. Would something like this work for you as well?

An error occurred while saving the comment Larry King commentedI believe Tracey is correct. As long as they are both in Family One, they should be able to complete the process.

Seems that many district are concerned about the ability to do this. Frontline has provided a file which can be used to import into "Q", but SMS 2.0 does not provide that option. It appears the idea has been around, but it has gained no traction. If Skyward wants us to take seriously the encouragement to post "ideas" here, you should actually demonstrate that it provides some benefit.
