I am so uncomfortable every year at this time when parents call and ask why they can't do the family update. It needs to be accessible to both parents. All they are doing is correcting their address info etc. So it should come up with just their info and the childs, and the other family would come up with their info as well as the child. Also, frustrated at having to constantly having to move one or the other to family #1.

It would be great to be able to have a date to have the conference scheduler for families to open rather than setting it up and having to remember to go in on the "go" date and enable the option in Family Access.

Hi everyone, we have begun development updates to provide additional functionality to better track a student’s legal name when they identify with another name. An identity tab will be available within the Student profile where a student’s legal name information can be maintained and pulled from for state reporting needs. This will then allow the preferred name to be entered as the student’s profile name and be represented throughout the system. We will also be looking to provide options on report cards and transcripts to designate which name you’d like to print.

I would like to add to this request in that the "other" name should be able to be pulled into exports that are sent to other programs such as Destiny, Schoology, and Google. Any student who is using a different name for a variety of important reasons, need to have that name pulled for the export data. It causes confusion when a teacher then can't find the name that they see in the gradebook. I just had two situations this week that could have been cleared up if the "other" name had been exported.

It would be so helpful that if a students MOI was changed, by anyone who has access to that tab, that we could trigger an email to alert all parties involved with setting up the new learning style. For instance, if the director of the Online students enters someone who is moving from hybrid to online, the counselors and the technology people know that a schedule needs to be made/changed and that a device needs to be checked out. It would be a huge help in reducing the extra emails to be sent or phone calls etc. and we'd know that all necessary parties were informed.

It makes more sense to have the custom forms that need to be filled out before the Required Documents link as some of the required forms are in the Custom area.
