Deleting Avaiblity Groups
When you need to delete an Availability Group, you have to delete it two times. It should not be this way... It should able to delete the first time.

Parental Consent Notes with an End Date still show in Teacher Gradebook
The green icon for Parental Consent Note still shows up in a teacher's gradebook after we have entered an end date to the note. The end date removes the green indicator from the Student Management side, but it does not remove it from the teacher side. This is very confusing for teachers.
16 votesThank you for sharing your thoughts on this scenario occurring in the gradebooks! In reviewing this, I have created PR 4232519 as a defect due to the inconsistency. I will move this project over to the development team for review, however have no timeline at the moment. This will be Declined as a Product Idea as we have flagged the project as a known issue and not an enhancement request.

Turn on Live Chat on the weekends during the beginning of year and end of year periods
It will be helpful if the live chat was turned on and manned on Saturdays during the Beginning of the Year ( during the first day of school season) and end of year. Live chat is AMAZING.

Seeing that this comment is not an enhancement to the product itself, we will be declining this idea – but greatly appreciate the feedback.

Limit Purchases of Individual Students
There needs to be a way to limit the purchases of individual students, other than Stopping All Purchases or Stopping Ala Carte Purchases.
Here is what we would suggest:
1.) The ability to place dollar purchase limits on individual student accounts.
2.) The ability to restrict specific Items for purchase on individual student accounts.

If the option is enabled in the Food Service Configuration, the parents can set a limit in Family Access (ala carte items) Page 1 of this documentation: support.skyward.com/DeptDocs/Corporate/Docu..
With that being said, there is also Wanding Messages that can be used to enter notes for specific students. Hope that helps!

Please see the message below from our State and Federal Compliance Department:
“Family Military Status is available in Online Registration. The district can turn on the feature by going to Family Access>Product Setup> Configuration>Entity Configuration>Online Registration. "
I have removed the ability to vote on this idea based on the SFC response.

Free & Reduced Application Approval Issue
When processing and approving a Free & Reduced application in the Food Service area, the new Lunch Code does not always show up in the Student Profile Food Service area. It does show up in the Food Service Payor and Customer areas. The POS will charge the student full price instead of the reduced price or free. I have to manually add the new Lunch Code in the Student Profile Food Service area to correct this. There is no way to know if this has happened until the student has built up a negative balance and the parent calls to…

Have an FAQ for Parents section that takes them through all of the things Skyward can do:

Etc.102 votesThis information would be district defined based on configuration. To assist with this in your district, resources do exist in our Family Access Toolkit (see: skyward.com/parents).
Many districts have had success linking to the Toolkit from their websites and in timely parent-facing communication (e.g. as parent-teacher conferences are approaching, send a message with a link to the tutorial video on how to sign up for a conference). Other approaches I’ve seen include a link to the Toolkit from the district’s main Skyward login page or embedding the videos directly on to school and district websites.

adding a grade level to this area
Is it possible to add the grade level to the student verification status browse screen. We have a split high school campus under the same entity in 2 different buildings so its hard to know what grade level the student is in so the registrars know who their students/families are.
Add the grade level of the student to the Student Verification Status screen so sorting is easier for separate campuses with the same entity number/different building location.23 votesHi all! Have Online Registration as option in Mobile App
With the transition to the new mobile app it would be very helpful to have the OnLine Registration area available in the new mobile app. We are having parents do their information updates through Online Registration in Family Access and it's not as user friendly when they are completing this on their phones or some tablets through a browser.
95 votesWe have looked into custom forms to be used in conjunction with the Mobile App and unfortunately found it will not work with the SMS product. However, this functionality does exist with the newer Qmlativ product.
