Unsubmitted Timesheet Report based on position start date
The report parameter for this report should go off of the employee's assignment start date or the employee's schedule. Currently, if an employee has a start date of 10/13/2020, the report generates saying that there are unsubmitted timesheets for 8/3-10/11. It is very frustrating to weed through 50+ pages to determine what is truly unsubmitted and what was just before they were even to start work. Basically makes the report unusable. However, a report is needed. It just needs to go off the assignment start date or schedule.
15 votesHello! On the Unsubmitted timesheet report we added an option for Use Start Date or Check for Schedule. Both or none of the options will be able to be used. If you Use Start Date, you will be able to choose from Hire Date, Start Date or Current Position Start Date. It will also use Rehire if it exists compared to Hire Date and Start Date. This functionality will be available 05.22.06.00.09 (9/29) and 05.22.10.00.01 (10/06). Thank you and have a great day!

Allow district to set default text of True Time denial message
Currently we can enter text when Payroll or a supervisor denies a time sheet. This is awesome however, Skyward includes some default text "Please make the necessary corrections and resubmit the time sheet" which is displayed after the text we've entered, and often conflicts with our text. This causes confusion and unnecessary calls to Payroll. Please either remove this default text or let the district enter what they want to have included as default text for True Time denial messages. See screen shot of message.
1 voteThe ability for district to set a custom default True Time Denial Message will be available in the 05.20.06.00.03 (7/9/2020) Release.
Navigate to Human Resources, True Time, Setup, Configuration, timekeeping Rule. A new field has been added to create a custom denial message.
Thank you!

Auditor requesting additional timesheet info
I need a report for the auditors that show who submitted the employees timesheets and who approved their timesheets.

The new option is available with the following report types: Employee Summary Report by Week, Employee Summary Report by Day, and Employee Detail Transaction Report for Each Day. This enhancement was included in the October 2018, addendum 8 release (01/10/2019). Enjoy!

An option has been added to the Timekeeping Rule to display a notification to the employee when they have unsubmitted time sheets. Turn it on and enter a number of weeks.

Mobile App - ability to SUBMIT time sheets in TT
With the promotion of utilizing Skyward's mobile App I'm wondering WHY we can't actually SUBMIT our time sheets in True Time.... we can clock in/out our supervisors can approve BUT we can't SUBMIT. I think this is an important step missing and I hope the software developers consider this important enhancement/FIX.... thank you!

True Time-to allocate Comp time if no pay that wk
For some staff we are using True Time to keep track of supplemental work. In some cases staff can choose to take all of the time as comp time. But this currently fails because the system will not allocate comp time if there has been no pay for that time sheet. When Payroll processes the timesheet the Time Sheet Summary report correctly shows payroll what is to be paid and which hours are to be allocated toward comp time. The next report is Allocated Comp Time Verification. The "comp time only" hours do not show up on this report and…
59 votesWe have recently completed PR 5497638 which allows all hours to be submitted for comp time within TrueTime!
There is an option within the Timekeeping Rule > Comp Time Tab which you can check to allow ALL hours to be submitted. This will go for anyone in the timekeeping rule.
Thank you!

Future Term Dates and True Time
Currently True Time will not allow a user to input time records for employees with a termination date. We enter future termination dates for retiring employees after their retirement paperwork is submitted. This is causing an issue now that we are using true time. Please allow for the entering of time records for employees with termination dates that occur in the future. True Time will only restrict entering time records for employees with a termination date less than the current date.
78 votesGreat news! Starting with the 05.20.02.00.07 release an option to use the Term Date to determine True Time eligibility has been added to the District Display settings. This option will be turned on for all existing districts so that no changes to eligibility happen without a change to the District Display settings. If it is turned off, then the term date will not be used when determining if an employee has access to True Time.
Thank you,
