1. TRS Reports

   We need a report that we can run to tell us how many days & hours have been reported for any employee(s) per month or school year to TRS. TRS has identified some of our employees that had no days or hours reported for several months. I don't have a way to run a report to check on all employees. These hours are reported on RP20 & RP25 reports in different months. The days/hours are not in one single place.
   This is a new problem, but one that I have always been concerned about with that first year since the TRS conversion. Employees will not receive credit for a year of service if the district did not report the days correctly.
   It seems easy to say, "Well, did you look at your exception reports? You can print all your CSV files from the TRS website." Anyone who processes TRS reporting knows this is not going work, especially with larger districts.

2. Wisconsin PI 1504/1505 and School Level Report Export should have the option to pull the Original Budget or the revised

   PI 1504/1505 and School Level Report should have the option to pull the Original Budget or the revised. Our Board approves the original budget and we need to report that to the state. Currently we can't allow budget revisions until the file upload is available around November 1st.

3. ER 27 for Retirees based on calendar month not pay period

   System is creating an ER27 adjusting the days and hours worked based on sub tracking (which is pay period) when retirees have to be reported by calendar month. We are submitting ER20's every month with the correct hours and days for the calendar month and the next month an ER 27 is adjusting it and it shouldn't be. We are deleting the ER27 prior to submitting them.

4. Changes made to the TRS Staff Salary New Extract

   The extract has been changed to only include active employees. However To provide accurate reporting on TEA Staff Salary report. Inactive Profiles need to be added back to the extraction which include the last payroll and term dates. Also it would be better for the extraction to pull from pay history and not just active employees. I am going back checking some things with the new way of reporting it would be nice if the Skyward report had which month the data is extracted from when looking at multiple months. Having the terms and inactive profiles is helpful sometimes we have go back and rerun these reports with the current setup it is not pulling the previous month data because that employee is not active. For Example When I ran the September and October with the new extracting the employees who have termed are not showing up on the report because they're not currently active. Also someone might be getting paid in November but their last day to work was actually the end of October. For the Staff Salary Funding they are not actually eligible in November even if they're active because the last pay is in November. So we look at last payroll dates and term dates for that information. Employees are made active by the HR department at the time of hire however they may not actually start work or get paid in the same month. Sometimes they never show up for work. Extracting only Active employees is not an accurate reporting as it would be to pull the extraction from pay history.

5. ED40 Records

   Since there have been issues with ED records in Skyward and on TRS Portal it would be nice to have a clone button to clone a record. For example this month I am having an issue with TRS portal that an ED40 records have not been submitted for August contracts. However I can see the ED40 record in Skyward and TRS. Other districts have just manually entered in the records because they did not have very many to get the system to process it. I am waiting to hear back from TRS since I have multiple employees I am getting the message on. It would be nice to clone last month's record and change the report period. When Skyward had the issue in June and July that ED 40 records were not being created it would have been nice to have clone last year's record to already have the Employment start date positon code employment type etc. Then all that would had to be change was the report period date hourly pay rate and the contract dates etc.
