Mass Add Additional Pay Code Utility
Utility needs to include add-on amounts in the process in order to get the true hourly rate of the employee. Our add-on section is currently being used to increase the base salary due to evaluation/performance from the prior year. Without the add-on being included, the hourly rate is what the employee was earning on the day they were hired, many years ago.

An option is now available in the Mass Add of Additional Pay Codes utility to reset the parent assignment’s Export/Import Dates so the additional pay code changes will be picked up by the Assignment Export/Payroll Import process.
This is available with the 05.20.02.00.05 Release.

Position Control Groups Export and Import
The goal of this RFE is to reduce the amount of manual entry associated with updating the Maximum FTE values in the Position Control Group Maintenance screen. Our district has over 2700 groups and updating the FTE values for the next school year is very laborious. We recommend looking at a mass export and import process similar to other areas of the software such as the placement tracker export import. We could export the current Position Control Group data update the Maximum FTEs and Overage Allowed and then import it back into the current plan.
1 voteIn November 2018 (PR 3656514), the ability to Import Assignments from File” became available for all Skyward users.
Go to Employee Administration \ Employee Management \ Plan Management.
Assuming your plan is empty, the import will create all assignments from the import file, then using the “Position Control Creation Criteria” it will create necessary Position Controls (PC) and Position Control Groups (PCG) if you’re using them. It will then assign FTE on either to at least match what was in the assignments underneath. If the plan already has PC and PCG, it would only update the FTE if there wasn’t enough to accommodate the assignments.
