check payee number of characters = positve pay file number of characters
Make the name of the payee on the check exactly match the vendor name in the positive pay file allowing the bank an extra safeguard against fraud.
1 voteGood Morning! We recently completed PR 5920672 to limit the number of characters for the name of the vendor on the check and positive pay file to match exactly. This is available for both February and October releases.

Credit Card Approve Transactions - need a "View Only with Attachments" security configuration
The Credit Cards > Approve Transactions screen does not have a security configuration that allows approvers to see attachments to the transaction without having edit access to the transaction. "CC AT View Only.png" shows 1,1 security access on WF\AP\CC\AT; there are no Notes or Attachment buttons despite the transaction having an attachment. "CC AT View Edit" shows 2,1 security access on WF\AP\CC\AT, attachments can be viewed but this configuration allows approvers to edit transactions that they are approving. Our district feels this would be an audit finding criticism; in our Credit Card approval hierarchy we want approvers to deny transactions…
2 votesPreviously, users with level 1 security did not have access to the Notes or Attachment options on the Credit Card Activity browse. The ability for Level 1 security users to view the notes and attachments became available on 2/18/2021 with the 05.21.02.00.02 – Feb 2021 Release PMP0 Addendum2.
You must be on February addendum 2 or a more recent addendum release to access this functionality.

Add an additional vendor line field to the check export
We need an additional line added in the check export. The field already exists in Skyward. If the vendor has an additional line and this is included in the "pay to the order of" on the check it comes up as a payee discrepancy with the bank. The bank explained that banking institutions have increased positive pay measures for fraud and this additional information should be included on the export. Manually adjusting the export file and comparing to the vendor record is not a feasible solution.
2 votesStarting with the 05.20.06.00.07 Addendum available on 9/3/2020, the vendor’s A/P Contact is now available as an export field for the bank check file (positive pay).
If you want to include A/P Contact in your export, you will need to update the file definitions which are located in PaC, Check Reconciliation, press the ? Options button and select the ‘Export Checks to Bank File’ option. Press the Format button. On the Export Format Fields, press the Add button.
Once A/P Contact is added to your file from PaC, you can run the export from PaC or the Web.
Thank you!

Sort Columns for Credit Card Transaction Approval
Please bring back the sort column option when in the Credit Card Transaction Approval screen. We have too many cards to create a filter for each one and that wouldn't work with our system of processing. Sorting was by far the most efficient way to process/find transactions. This option disappeared after the last update.

credit card approve and reroute option
I already contacted our Account Manager and he contact the development team. There is a reference analysis project # 3907354. I was also told that it would be beneficial to submitted a RFE. We would like to have just like expense reimbursement and check request the option for the approver to be able to approve and reroute. The negative impact resulting from not having the enhancement is that we in the Business Office will continue to hear the complaints as to why the software is not consist between the check request credit cards and expense reimbursements. We are expecting that…

Filter and Approve/Reroute in Credit Card Approval
We would like the ability to filter credit card transactions in the Approve Transaction screen similar to requisition approvals. We would also like the ability to approve/reroute credit card transactions in the Approve Transaction screen similar to requisition approvals. This would allow us to filter transactions based on campus card vendor or change columns similar to the filter function in other areas of Skyward.
3 votesLook for the approve and reroute enhancement in the 05.19.10.00.02 release!

Credit Cards - receipt attachment not following to vendor profile
After discussing during a peer-to-peer at our Fall User Group Conference this was brought to our attention. The receipt attachment (which our district requires for each credit card charge) isn't following the transaction to vendor profile. You are only able to view receipt attachments under AP, Credit Cards, Activity. If we are taking the time to cross reference the vendors when importing the transactions it would be helpful to see the receipt attachments under that vendor as well.

Auto Approval Rules - apply to Check Request
Please consider having auto approval rules for requisitions also apply to check requests.
1 voteGreat news! The auto approval rules for Requisition/PO Groups now apply to Check Requests as well. This enhancement was released with Addendum 10 to the June Release (9/13/18). Enjoy!

Epayables ability
Epayables ability... We would like to have the ability to have a payment type for each invoice of Epayable.
The epayable should Debit our AP(Liability) account and credit another ap (epayable) account. Then when we pay the credit card bill it would Debit AP Epayable and credit cash. We don't want it hitting the cash account until we pay the credit card statement. This is the up and coming thing. We would get rebates from the credit card company for doing this so many districts may get on board with this.3 votesGreat news! Starting with the 05.20.02.00.07 release you will find epayables ability in SMS 2.0.
A new vendor Default Batch Number (EPay) is available on the web via the vendor General Information edit screen for remit to vendors. When a vendor’s default batch number contains a value, AP invoices created on the web will populate the invoice with the vendor’s default batch number. The default batch number over rules other User Preferences for batch number. This is a web only feature.
Thank you!
